to create and express ideas
Departing the dim dark caves
of gaping mouths
Dispersing
somewhere in the biosphere
Perhaps escaping or deviating
to another incarnation.

As rain from swollen clouds
flood and regenerate
And the skin deteriorates
beneath a sun’s hot gaze.
